The sixth session of the Financial Management Doctoral Program (FDBA) of the School year 2024, "AI and Financial Technology", was held in Shenzhen from October 25 to 27. FDBA Jinbo Class students gathered in the school's mobile classroom to continue their learning.
The teaching team composed of doctoral supervisors, senior scholars, and experts in the financial field will teach each other for three days, including teaching, research, keynote speeches, case sharing, etc., with both theory and practice. The highlights of the course will be introduced in the later stage, so stay tuned.

Professor Yao Yudong, PhD supervisor of Hong Kong Graduate School of Business, deputy General manager and chief economist of Dacheng Fund, former director of the Financial Research Institute of the People's Bank of China and deputy director of the Monetary Policy Department, taught - "From Neolithic to Star Trek", interpreting human development from the Stone Age to the future interstellar crossing, based on the perspective of currency and commodity trading and the formation of irreversible trends. The course viewpoint is novel, the logic is solid, the theory is innovative, makes the students imagination rich.
Mr. Yao Yudong, economist and cultural scholar, Chief Economist of China Pension Finance 50 Forum, Deputy director of the Chief Economist Committee of Securities Association, Chief economist of Zhongguancun Huaxia Economics Foundation, and Chief economist of Global Wealth Management Forum (Tongzhou). He has won the first prize of the paper of the Chinese Finance Society, the Chief Economist of the First Financial Year in 2016 (Chinese), the Most Innovative Technology Financial Award in 2017, the Most Innovative Economist of the Year in NetEase in 2017, and the Most Influential Person in China's financial technology in 2017 by the Zhongguancun Internet Finance Research Institute.
Zhu Qi, PhD supervisor of Hong Kong Graduate School of Business, former Vice president of China Merchants Bank Co., LTD., Managing director and Chief Executive officer of China Merchants Wing Long Bank Co., LTD., taught "Buy a boat and go to Sea".
Mr. Zhu Qi has worked in the head Office of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for 8 years, and has experienced many different positions in the Capital Planning Department and the International Business Department, and has a preliminary understanding of the domestic financial and economic system. After working in Hong Kong for 14 years, he has done a lot of effective work to promote the establishment, merger and acquisition and development of ICBC institutions in Hong Kong, with remarkable performance growth and substantial increase in shareholder value. Later, he served as the Chief executive Officer of China Merchants Wing Lung Bank, transforming Hong Kong family banks, integrating various cross-border businesses, and forming synergistic benefits through internal and external linkage. Business growth and financial indicators have reached the level of Hong Kong's top banks, and the strategic objectives set by CMB's Board of directors for the acquisition of Wing Lung Bank have been fulfilled.
