A clash of ideas! Discuss inclusive finance and green finance together!

The courses on Inclusive Finance and Green Finance will be held in Shenzhen on November 22 and in Hong Kong on November 23-24, with FDBA Jinbo students gathering for continuous learning. The teaching team composed of doctoral supervisors, senior scholars, and experts in the financial field will teach each other for three days, including teaching, research, keynote speeches, case sharing, etc., with both theory and practice. The highlights of the course will be introduced in the later stage, so stay tuned.

This course adopts the teaching method of combining theory and practice. In particular, senior experts in the field of inclusive finance and green finance were invited to comprehensively introduce the concept of inclusive finance and its current theoretical development status, and at the same time, in-depth explanations were made based on practical cases. In addition, lecturing experts with rich practical experience shared their valuable experience and thinking results accumulated in the field of inclusive finance and green finance. Professor Shi Jianping, PhD supervisor of Hong Kong Graduate School of Business and former Vice President of Central University of Finance and Economics, gave a lecture on the Development of Green Finance in China.

Professor Shi Jianping is currently the Dean of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Whampoa) Research Institute of Central University of Finance and Economics. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the Steering Committee for Graduate Finance Education of the Ministry of Education, the Deputy Chairman of the Steering Committee for Laboratory Construction and Experimental Teaching of the Ministry of Education, and the member of the ESG Professional Committee of the Chinese Social Work Committee. He has served as executive director of China Finance Society, Vice president of China Rural Finance Society and director of China International Finance Society. He has presided over more than 20 national and provincial projects, published more than 80 academic papers, and published more than 30 university textbooks and academic monographs.

Bei Duoguang, PhD supervisor of Hong Kong Graduate School of Business and dean of China Institute of Inclusive Finance, taught "Inclusive Finance and ESG" to the students.

Dr. Bei Duogang is currently the Dean of the China Institute of Inclusive Finance, Renmin University of China, part-time professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Finance and Finance, Secretary General of the China Summit Forum on Socially Responsible Investment (IFCII), and a visiting researcher of the University of California, Berkeley and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Dr. Bei has worked in the Ministry of Finance, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China International Capital Corporation and jpmorgan Chase. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial market. His representative works include "On Macro Finance", "Analysis of China's Capital Flow" and "Beyond Inclusive Finance". He has won the Sun Yefang Economics Award and chaired key projects of the National Social Science Foundation.

Mr. Li Zhengqiang, doctoral supervisor of Hong Kong Graduate School of Business and University of International Business and Economics, taught "Financial Risk Management" to students.

Li Zhengqiang, former Party Secretary of China Galaxy Securities Company, Deputy Party Secretary and deputy general manager of China Financial Futures Exchange, Deputy Party Secretary and general manager of Dalian Commodity Exchange.

He is currently Professor of Management Practice at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, Distinguished Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), doctoral supervisor at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, and Distinguished Professor at the School of Capital Markets. He has spoken at international forums such as the Summer Davos Forum (WEF), the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and the World Congress of Exchanges (WEC).

Hong Xiaoyuan, PhD supervisor of Hong Kong Graduate School of Business and director of Guoxin International Investment Co., Ltd. gave a lecture on "Corporate Governance and Business Success".

Mr. Hong Xiaoyuan is currently a director of Guoxin International Investment Co., LTD., an independent director of Bank of Hangzhou Co., LTD., and a member of the Expert Group of the Hong Kong Chief Executive's Policy Group. He was the chairman of China Merchants China Fund, Boshi Fund, China Merchants Capital, China Merchants Venture Capital and China Merchants Insurance.

Hu Ruohan, co-founder and General manager of Organic Data Technology and Deputy Director of ESG Special Committee of China Enterprise Management Research Society, gave a lecture on the Application of Fintech in ESG and Climate Risk Measurement.

Hu Ruohan, co-founder and general manager of Digital Technology, is the deputy director of ESG Special Committee of China Enterprise Management Research Society, and the chief expert of carbon neutrality at the New Energy Platform Software Engineering Research Center of Tsinghua Strait Research Institute. He was previously head of product business for Asia Pacific at the London Stock Exchange and Head of Greater China at FactSet. In 2023, she won the UBS Global Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs Award.
