The first semester of the Financial Management Doctoral program of Xiangjiang Business School has come to an end. The curriculum is scientific, the faculty is expert, the learning methods are diversified, and the learning guidance is personalized. All the students have deeply explored the complexity and diversity of the capital market under the leadership of the school, and have explored the law, based on development, and guided the future in continuous improvement.

The curriculum of this semester is professional and applied as the starting point, with the six modules of "overseas capital market" and "Macroeconomics and large capital management" as the core, to build a macro and comprehensive learning framework.
In course design, we adhere to the principle of equal emphasis on theory and practice. By introducing student business cases, class discussions are no longer about abstract concepts, but about specific business challenges and opportunities. This interactive learning mode not only improves the students' practical skills, but also promotes the transformation of theoretical knowledge into practical ability, and realizes the efficient output and absorption of knowledge.
Courses such as "Methods of Writing and Analyzing Research Cases" and "Norms of Collaboration for Doctoral Thesis" are designed to enhance students' research ability and academic expression level, encourage them to become professionals with independent thinking and innovative ability, and lay a solid foundation for their future academic or career path.

·Teaching method: Focus on interactive teaching and diversified communication·
In terms of teaching methods, according to each student's basic situation, learning characteristics, thinking mode, the combination of interactive teaching and personalized guidance is adopted to maximize the learning needs of students.
In terms of interactive teaching, teachers will reserve time in the classroom to answer questions on the spot, actively interact and solve doubts in time. Class seats are arranged in groups to facilitate discussion and communication among members. At the same time, the school sets up a learning group for the class, and the teachers join in it, so that every student can ask questions and communicate with the teachers, and the channels of interaction are open.
In addition to basic theoretical courses and module courses, the school has organized a number of public courses, expert lectures, seminars and thematic forums.

·Field visit: Explore industry development and financial pulse·
This semester, the College led students to visit a number of well-known enterprises and experience the pulse of the financial market.
During the visit to HKEX, the participants had a preliminary understanding of the listing rules and changes of HKEX and the rules for issuing bonds of HKEx.
During the visit to Ant Financial, students learned about Ant Group's main business, development formats, partners and corporate culture.
During the visit to Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, the students had an intuitive insight into the various measures and phased results of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank's comprehensive promotion of the "digital intelligence" strategy through visiting the "digital space".
In the Beijing course, students have a detailed understanding of the development history of China Information in the past 40 years, as well as the company's current development and layout in multiple fields such as digital finance, data assets, scene finance, cloud + information and innovation.
These valuable field visits and industry exchanges not only deepen the students' understanding of the theory, understand the forefront of the industry, but also stimulate everyone's infinite thinking about the future. At the same time, it is helpful for students to establish and broaden their interpersonal and business networks, and help them become entrepreneurs and senior managers who meet the needs of international competition.
·Cultural activities: Experience immersive communication and circle integration·
Most of the doctoral students are masters, aged 35-45 years old, senior managers or above, some of them have overseas work experience, active thinking, broad vision, and a good ecological circle foundation.
With the mission of "cultivating industry leaders and shaping the future of enterprises", the school has set up a class committee team in the early stage, planned a wealth of extracurricular activities, and jointly created a benign ecological circle of mutual assistance and growth.
During the Hangzhou course, the afternoon conversation in the courtyard and the relaxation of the West Lake at night let the students personally feel different kinds of poetry and painting, so that the thinking is infinite, so that the communication is infinite, and get the inspiration to solve the dilemma.
When the course moved to the bustling Shanghai, the students visited the high-end pension community founded by the alumni, which not only broadened their horizons, but also had a direct understanding of the future of the pension industry, but also enhanced alumni exchanges, cultivated alumni culture, and built a platform for enabling growth.
The most memorable point of the Beijing trip was a unique "knowledge barbecue party" at Wu Weijun's home. Teachers and students sit together, extending the classroom to life, not only sharing the forward-looking insights in the field of accounting, but also deepening the friendship between teachers and students, transcending the boundaries of traditional teaching, making education more warm.
The courses in the first semester not only enriched the students' professional knowledge in the fields of overseas capital market, large capital management and cross-border investment, and macro economy, but also improved their comprehensive literacy through a series of field visits, forum exchanges and cultural activities.
We look forward to exploring more unknown areas together in the next semester, improving our professional knowledge system, broadening our understanding of the financial field, deepening our understanding of the economic situation, and cultivating a broader global perspective to help our personal construction and enterprise development.
