On April 26th, the campus of Chuo International University, located beside the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan, was filled with a warm and solemn atmosphere. The opening ceremony and the first concentrated teaching session of the Doctoral Program in Business Administration of Xiangjiang Business School - Chuo International University were grandly held here, marking the grand departure of a knowledge exploration journey spanning across oceans and connecting China and Japan.
On the first day of school, the Jigei Town campus of Chengxi International University gathered students from all over the world in various fields. At the opening ceremony in the morning, Xu Huijun, the dean of Xiangjiang Business School, led the students in a ice-breaking activity and delivered a speech. Subsequently, Yuan Fuzhi, a professor from the MBA program of the Business Design Graduate School of Chengxi International University, gave an introduction to the admission process and carefully explained the requirements of this doctoral project's thesis to the students.
In the afternoon, the opening ceremony of the Xiangjiang-Chengxi Doctoral Program was grandly held. The executive director of the Chengxi University Group (the school's legal entity), Kano Hiroyuki, the executive director of Shengan Katsuyoshi, the president of Chengxi International University, Katsuyasu Kurosaki, the president of the Chinese Enterprise Association in Japan, Wang Jiachun, and the executive dean of Xiangjiang Business School, Xu Huijun, all attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The student representative Zhu Yan also expressed gratitude to the teachers of Xiangjiang and Chengxi in Japanese that she had just learned and expressed her anticipation and determination for the upcoming academic journey.
That night, leaders from the Chinese Enterprise Association in Japan and Chukyo International University held a grand welcome dinner for the trainees at the Japan-China Friendship Hall. At the end of the dinner, the entire audience sang "Oriental Pearl" in Chinese, sharing their friendship and envisioning the bright future of the cooperation between Hong Kong and Chukyo.



During the teaching period, a series of splendid academic lectures will be held one after another. On the afternoon of the 26th, Vice President Yu Yang of Chengxi University delivered a lecture on "The Social Security System in Japan Facing Low Birth Rate and Aging Population", which aroused strong interest and in-depth thinking among the students regarding the similarities and differences between the social security systems of China and Japan.
On the morning of the 27th, Professor Zhao Shengchuan, an overseas fellow of the Japanese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Chiyoda International University, delivered a lecture titled "TOD (Public Transport Oriented Development) and the Urban Development of Tokyo". As a renowned scholar specializing in urban transportation planning research, Professor Zhao systematically expounded through detailed data models and case analyses of the Tokyo metropolitan area how the rail transit-oriented development model (Transit-Oriented Development) has reshaped the urban spatial layout of Tokyo.
Professor Masahiro Shinmi of the Business Intelligence Department at Seita International University delivered the lecture titled "The Financial System of Japan".



On the afternoon of April 27th, former Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Shigeki Sugiyama, specially came to Chongxi University to deliver a lecture on "The Current Financial Situation from the Perspectives of Japanese Politics, Economy and Industry" to the students of the 2nd class of the Hongjiang Business School. He also had in-depth exchanges with the students and exchanged business cards with them. Shigeki Sugiyama, with his rich political experience and profound economic insights, thoroughly analyzed the latest developments in Japan's politics, economy and industry and their profound impacts on the financial sector. He revealed the development trends and potential opportunities of the Japanese financial market to the students.

On April 28th, former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama delivered a special speech to the students of the 2nd batch of the Finance Management Doctoral Program at Xiangjiang Business School.

On April 28th, in the core financial district of Tokyo, inside the headquarters building of Mizuho Bank, a dialogue that transcends theory and practice was taking place - the students of the 2nd batch of the Finance Management Doctoral Program at Xiangjiang Business School visited the top Japanese financial institutions to explore the deep logic and future opportunities of China-Japan financial cooperation. Xiangjiang Business School's Executive Dean Xu Huijun and Wang Jiachun, the representative of the Chinese Enterprise Association in Japan, accompanied the entire event.

The launch of the first "Hong Kong Business School - Chengxi International University Doctoral Program in Business Administration" marks not only a new beginning for the students' academic journey, but also a powerful boost for Chinese enterprises as they embark on a new path towards the international stage.
